Dear Alicia,
For the end of 2020, these gifts might require some explanation. Also, I don't know if you will ever see the "Father" book I filled out for Christina to hand off by Uncle Marco's wake, so more back story from me about these and maybe in the future.
The Potty Calendar, Spaceman theme seems perfect for Lucas.
For Mike the interview Magazine with Nic Cage. Because, you know Mike looks like him. Also reminds some of the Anna Faris podcast I am thankful you mentioned. UNQUALIFIED a great name for it, and Malcolm Gladwell a great introduction for me.
For you:
1) "Nobody Lives Forever" an Edna Buchanan novel. I bought this at a library the I was home instructing. The library sold it to make room for new stock and I am glad I bought it.
2) "Dying City" a Christopher Shinn play. Mara and I saw "Four" by Mr. Shinn. Quite good. I did not see this one on stage. This play is not as well-written, in my humble opinion. I know of it being on stage before but my interest in it came from Mary Elizabeth Winstead acting in it. Mara and I had seen her recently in a movie.
3) "The Owl and the Pussycat" by Bill Manhaff is a great play. I was assigned a scene in acting class. Alan Alda was the leading male on Broadway in 1964. He was so great in M*A*S*H on Television. Mara and I saw him on Broadway in the David Mamet's Glengarry Glen Ross. There is a film version where Jack Lemmon plays that role quite well.
Diana Sands was his co-star. I knew of her from a 1970 movie called "The Landlord." Beau Bridges was the leading man. Some called it his best work. The whole thing is available on YouTube.I can get a link to you if you want. She was also famous for her acting in "A Raisin in the Sun."
That's it for now. Glad you liked the Martin Short autobiography.
Love
Dad
