Covid Song Notes

COVID 19 SONG

Can’t you hear our Heart Machines beeping?
Maybe we can meet tomorrow evening,
Does it feel our Life essence seeping away?
Away
We’re fading away

Check out the stores as another lease ends
Life ending shorter,
That’s the world order
Another crazy hoarder
Trying not to lose your old friends
We can talk on the phone
Figure it’s okay to not let them know?
How sad when life ends
They’re fading away.

I couldn’t say it was nice to have known him,
Remembering the last time you phoned him,
Hung up on time
There is a sign
There’s no food or clothing on
Any establishment rack
The horror for many there’s no coming back
No way of knowing,
When we’ll come or
When we’ll be going away.
Maybe I’ll see you on my next birthday,

Streets so scaring clear
Stores so barren here
Rich are less to sharing
Money we were earning
Big shots got no care in
No part in
Our hearts in
Look who we got calling the shots

See the signs that say we’re closed
Can’t touch a statue,
An auto driven car is coming at you.
Flying into space are you seeing me now?
I’m fading away.
