Charlie stands and puts the backpack down to catch her breath. A homeless man shakes his coin cup near by.
Charlie sees the homeless man, turns and ponders for a second
and shakes her money baggy. She oers up some pennies.
HOMELESS MAN
What's wrong little miss?       C I'm scared of                                            crossing. Can you go with me?8.
HOMELESS MAN
I can't.
                                C: Why? homeless man ponders
HOMELESS MAN
Because you can do it on your own.     C.                                 Charlie puts in all her money.
HOMELESS MAN
Keep your head high and keep going.
                                      The crossing sign flashes red,
HOMELESS MAN
Don't look back!                It flashes green
